Incredible Outdoor Living Before and After Photos
Over the years, we have had the honor of building many amazing spaces. As the new year rolls in, we want to take a second to appreciate a few of our projects from the past couple of years! Outdoor living before and after photos allow us to appreciate and understand the changes that can happen in a home. Take a look below at a few of our favorites from last year!
Multi Level Outdoor Room with Two Tiered Fireplace
This project is nothing less than a show stopper. With three different levels, there is something for every member of the family. Before any demo, this backyard included a pool and pool deck that needed major rehab, an old composite deck and a pergola. After discussing wants and needs, we transformed this backyard to include:
- A new pool deck with room for patio seating
- A two story fireplace feature finished with stone
- A lower level covered patio
- A series of retaining walls and steps
- A covered composite deck with Heartlands Custom Screen Room System and Universal Motion Screens
- An open deck area with an outdoor kitchen
- Included in the outdoor kitchen is a Napoleon built-in grill, Fire Magic doors and cabinets, and a True Residential Fridge

Custom Screen Room System with a Concrete Patio
Having a large backyard, set against a tree line, makes for a wonderful space to add an outdoor living area. This project once was a simple concrete walkway and a cedar landing. We came in and removed all walkways and the existing cedar landing. After the demolition, we installed our Custom Screen Room System to give the homeowner a space to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs and pests. Once the cedar landing was removed, we installed a new composite deck with Westbury Railing. To top it off, we added new stamped concrete walkways and a patio area.
Pool House with Fireplace and Outdoor Kitchen
We may be a little biased, but we think that outdoor rooms and in-ground pools belong together. In this outdoor living before and after, we built a beautiful pool house. The pool house has a gorgeous fireplace feature, which is a favorite of ours. It also includes an outdoor kitchen and beverage center. Talk about comfort and convenience! With a clean slate, we were able to create the exact outdoor living space that the homeowner dreamt of.
Private Pool and Pool House Oasis
A backyard with natural privacy is the perfect spot for adding a pool and pool house! This project includes a concrete pool deck and a custom covered grilling area with storage. The pool and pool house is located right next to our custom screen room system for added shade.
Beautiful Stone Featured Outdoor Room
From a pergola to an outdoor living space, this project is second to none. Our homeowner decided that they wanted to replace the pergola with something more usable and practical. Pergolas may be aesthetically pleasing, but there are not many benefits that come along with adding one. Adding an outdoor room not only expanded their living space, but it also added a visual feature to their home. Take a look at the before and after photos below!
